Our Mission
We have been delivering structural design, inspection and certification services for temporary works since 1985. We have offices across Australia in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Our excellent track record for service delivery and expertise is evidenced by repeat business. We are preferred designers and peer reviewers for various types of temporary structures (as listed below) for major builders including CPB, Multiplex, Lendlease, Watpac, Built, Mirvac and John Holland.
Other specialised services include general structural design work, facade and remedial engineering. EAAE are also TAO (Technical Assured Organisation) accredited by Transport NSW. We are only one of three engineering firms in the country to be accredited
Our Team
Thomas Cashman – Associate Engineer- Sydney Manager BE (civ) CPEng
Since the inception of Thomas’s career which spans over 12 years, he has specialised in structural design for major projects, including high rise commercial and residential towers, airports, major retail centers, large infrastructure projects and temporary stability for demolition works.
Thomas has experience in working in Australian and United Kingdom construction industries, being exposed to Australian, British, and European codes and standards. Throughout his time in the industry he has gained valuable experience in the Building sector, and has become an expert in temporary work design and construction methodology. He has focused on building strong client relations through reliable and timely service.
Cristian Aliotta – Senior Engineer BE (Civ) (Hons) MIE (Aust)
Cris has had extensive experience in Europe and worked for some of the largest main contractors on the European continent, being exposed to some of the most interesting and challenging temporary works projects in the world. Cris started his career in the geotechnical engineering discipline. Following his extensive work in geotechnical engineering he joined a multi- disciplinary consulting firm in Italy, where he cemented his creative design experience.

Civil Engineer with over five-year industrial experience in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering that related to design & detailing, inspection, testing, quality assurance, health & safety and document control. His extensive experience with the Melbourne Westgate Tunnel, Clyde Rd Berwick Station complex and his work in research at the University of Melbourne has produced an allround capable engineer.

Owen Parton – Senior Structural Design Engineer BEng (Civil), MEng (Civil)
Owen started his career in the United States working in the permanent works industry and migrated to Australia toward the end of 2019 to continue his career in permanent works. With eight years of experience in structural design and detailing, Owen made a career change to the temporary sector with EAAE in 2022. With valuable experience in design with all construction materials, Owen brings the most efficient and constructable results to any project brought to us by our clients.

Geoff Fletcher - Senior Engineer BE(Civ) CPEng RPEQ NER
Geoff is a registered Civil/Structural engineer with experience in Australia and the UK in design, construction, temporary works and provision of specialist structural systems in the construction industry. Geoff also contributes to precast-related Australian Standards and to the training sector for licenced builders and provides technical advice to industry safety authorities.

Patrick Wark - Design Engineer BEng (Mech)(Hons), BCom (Fin/Econ)
Patrick as a mechanical engineer and project manager with over 10 years industry experience, brings expertise to the complex and demanding field of unique access systems. As a design engineer, Patrick specialises in managing design and installation of complex scaffolding and access structures, complex propping systems for unique loading of machines on floors. Analysis and reviews of construction and de-construction methodologies.
